Issue Summary:

How do I convert to a Cross Tab report when there are commas in the Alias from an Essbase MDX query?

Essbase allows commas in Aliases. An example would be "Cash, Cash Equivalents". This presents a challenge since by default Essbase tuples are also delimited by commas.

Issue Solution:
To work around this:

1. Go to the OneCloud Essbase BizApp -> select "MDX Query" Command and set the Tuple Delimiter to a character like a pipe character (|).

2. Go to the OneCloud Tabular Transformation BizApp -> Convert to Cross-Tab, set File Delimiter to TAB and the Field Delimiter to the pipe character.

This will create an output like the following. Note that "XXX, YYY, ZZZ" is the alias for the member "Sales":

How to use the Convert CSV to Native Essbase Format Command?

OneCloud offers the Convert CSV to Native Essbase Format Command. This feature, is part of the OneCloud EPM Utilities BizApp and can easily convert a tabular delimited output with or without column headers into an "Essbase Ready" Native Format. The OneCloud Command converts the delimited data, which could be sourced from a relational query into a format that can be directly loaded into a variety of Oracle EPM products, including Oracle Essbase, Oracle EPM Cloud technologies. Below are some two sample source formats and the corresponding output.
