When a Pipeline is no longer needed, users may archive or delete them. Archiving a Pipeline retains it as a read-only state, while restricting it from executing. Archiving a Pipeline can be useful to support audit requests. Deleting a Pipeline removes it and its version history from Data Prep entirely.

Archiving a Pipeline

Archiving is Pipeline is very easy.

  • Navigate to Pipelines from the Data Prep navigation menu.

  • Be sure the Active tab of the Pipelines list is selected.

  • Click the Archive icon on the Pipeline row.

  • The Pipeline is moved to the Archived tab of the Pipelines list.

Archive a Pipeline from the Pipeline list

Alternatively, a Pipeline can be archived by opening the Pipeline, clicking the vertical ellipse in the upper right corner, and selecting Archive.
